'Wave Trainer' vegan lace-up athletic sneaker by Ahimsa - black

I already had a navy blue pair of the 'Wave Trainers' so getting a black pair was a no-brainer. I cannot recall owing a more comfortable pair of shoes and unlike most sports shoes these are attractive to look at too. My 60 year old legs have walked for 1.5 hours on inner-city Sydney footpaths without any jarring when wearing these shoes. I have slightly compromised balance due to a head injury, but you would not know it when I have these shoes on. I am able to walk with purpose and and precision (apart from the occasional knee twist). And best of all, no animal was harmed in any way for me to enjoy the pleasure of these shoes.

Very comfy and light

This is my second pair of Ahimsa wave trainer I wore out the other pair. The only shoe that helps with probationers though other brands try to make this claim. The best shoe for walking on slippery wet concrete and loook so good on. So comfortable long wearing and worth every dollar

I bought these shoes for my husband. They are a good fit, very comfortable and are made by a company with sound ethics and principles. He loves that they have put #Go Vegan on the upper tongue of the shoes.
What’s not to like?

These shoes are so comfy. I have the same style in the navy but wanted to size up half a size for when I wear thicker ankle socks in winter. These are super comfy straight out of the box. They have great cushioning, the sole is really nice to walk on and there’s almost no break-in period because the materials are soft (but still really supportive). I remove the footbed and put my own orthotics in which works really well. I can walk all day wearing these plus they’re sleek and stylish, not too chunky or wide like some sneakers
